Al-Yusrah Education Fund: Building Futures Through Generosity
Since its establishment in early 2023, the Al-Yusrah Charity Fund for Education and Empowerment was launched with the mission of supporting and empowering committed students by providing educational opportunities that help them overcome financial challenges. Thanks to generous contributions and ongoing charitable donations from kindhearted individuals, the fund has successfully awarded scholarships to 26 students, in addition to offering interest-free revolving loans to 37 students in 2023 and renewing loans for another 45 students in 2024.
These efforts have resulted in the graduation of around 20 students by the end of the first semester of 2024, bringing the total number of beneficiaries of scholarships and loans to approximately 108 students within Jordan. These numbers reflect a real impact on the lives of ambitious youth and embody the fund’s mission to build a dignified future for students. With the continued support of donors and contributors, the fund confidently carries on its journey, asking God to bless everyone who gave and supported.
As part of this blessed journey, the Grants of Goodness Initiative was launched as an integrated charitable program aimed at providing sustainable scholarships to outstanding students facing financial hardship. These scholarships are awarded according to strict criteria set by the fund’s administration each academic term and represent a golden opportunity to transform students’ educational paths. The initiative reflects the fund’s ongoing commitment to expanding its impact and promoting social solidarity—opening the doors of education to those who deserve it, and establishing the concept of continuous giving as a form of lasting charity that benefits both individuals and society.
